Desktop Wireless Card soemtiems doesn't work on reboot

Hello,

I have two computers using wireless cards to connect to the internet. I have noticed that around 60% of the time the omputer conencts to the internet with no problems. However, around 40% of the time the internet does not work and the wireless card says that it is unable to connect to the router. I am able to see the router and when I click connect it simply tries to connect and then gives me an error message telling me that it cannot connect. I have also clicked repair on the connection and I receive a message that the network was disconnected and could not be reconnected. Any help you can give me would be great.
