im looking for a video card to run any game out there on the highest qual. im not looking to hook it up to a 1080p 52 inch tv but maybe like a good 22inch monitor. i have not been in the computer world in liek 5 years so i need somehelp here im building a new system and i just dotn know what kind of card to get. help me out here is my system specs

22" monitor = 1680x1050. The 4850 is the best choice. The 9800GTX/GTX+ isn't a bad idea either, but will cost you a bit more. (and require more power.) You could try a 4830/9800GT, or even attempt a 4670/9600GSO/GT, but these will be pushing it if you turn on AA. All of this of course is assuming you are playing video games. If you just want to watch movies and play poker, then just about any current card will work fine.

The best single video card = 4870 X2
The Best GPU setup = 3 GTX 280s in SLI
The best Price/performance at the high end = 2 4870 X2
The best Price/performance single card = 4870 1GB
The best price/performance multi card setup = 2 8800 GTS 512s/9800 GTX ($120 each) in SLI or 2 4830s (overclocked to 4850 speeds or higher) in crossfire.

No card setup can max out Crysis with everything on the highest settings, sorry.

Acually 2x9800GX2 can, the 9800GX2 owns crysis.
