Hey guys, I'm putting a new computer soon and I was wondering if you guys see any problems with the following specs? This is going to be a low-end gaming computer and it's also a budget machine so I'm keeping the cost as low as possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Specs seems fine.. I would add a bit more to upgrade to a 4850 though (but thats just me)

What is your PSU? a 420 should be able to power your rig fine as it is not going to consume more than 350 watts (and thats with the 4850)

The Seagate 7200.11 is faster than the WD drive - might want to look into that

All in all, I would say its fine.

I agree but both previous post concerning a more powerful GPU. A 4850 would indeed be a good choice of for a lower cost decent solution the new 4830 seems to be a good alternative.

The rest of your choices should be fine.

You could save some money on the CPU towards the video card by switching to the 7200 or 5200 which are almost equally fast and can be OC'ed to 3Ghz 24/7 with no problem to counter the minor difference in performance.
