I have 4GB(2x2) F2-8500CL6D-4GBNQ and a Gigabyte ma780G-UD3h

People have gotten these to run at 1066 with AMD, but I see conflicting settings..

Right now I have the EPP set to 533 and timings at 6-6-6-18 at 2.0V but CPU-Z still shows it as detecting as PC 800. I've also seen 5-5-5-17 at 1.9 or 2.1v

Gigabyte RAM compatibility chart says dual channel of 1066 and higher can only run 1 DIMM per bank, but the MB manual says to put both in one bank..

I'd just like to get these running as smoothly and quick as possible...

This is my first PC where I've had to play with timings (I dont OC or upgrade often)

Anyone know the proper way to set these up?

SJ

I have the MA78G-US2H, which is pretty much the same board without Crossfire.
It detected and set my Crucial 1066 memory perfectly on AUTO settings. (2x2)
Install the memory into the 2 yellow slots, what processor do you have?
