Hi,

Ok im hoping someone here will be able to help me!
i built a new PC about 6-8 weeks ago and since i first started playing games it would just switch off and restart i dunno what would be causing this.

Could it be that my cpu or grafix is over heating?

System specs:

Q6600 stock cooling with no OC
Gigabyte G31 MoBo
4gb ddr 800
Radeon 4870x2
ezcool 1000 psu
raidmax Aztec case

anyhelp would be most appreciated

Seriously though, I searched and found a lot of reviews that said something like "good bargain basement PSU for budget builds" etc.
I also seen a lot people who had problems with them, a common problem was "PC suddenly shuts down/reboots"
I dunno but I see a trend if you do a quick google search.....

Replace your power supply with recognized name brand one. You probably spent a lot for your 4870x2, but you skimp out on the power supply? For shame!
