Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but this is really annoying me.
Does anyone like the way Newegg has modified their drill-down feature?
Seems like they took a great feature, and turned it into a total pain to use. :pfff:
Used to love it, now I hate it.
Okay, I feel better now.

I don't see a change. Make sure you have "Advanced Search" highlighted.

yea it's not as nice as it used to be, now i have to change the option by lowest price and 100 items every time i use it:(

I think that one is a cookie issue. Mine came "unstuck" recently, but is working again so it stays on Lowest Price.

Aha! That was it, for some reason I was defaulting to the advanced search feature instead of the guided feature. Duh, thanks all. I prefer the guided feature myself, my wife must have been messing around with it......maybe looking for a Chirstmas gift?

Now THERE's your answer as to what you should get for HER. Build her a PC of her own, or pass yours down and build new. Pardon the weasel-speak, but that's a clear win-win. You get to scratch that need-to-build itch, she gets her own system to setup however she likes, and yours stays unmolested (and maybe gets upgraded in the process).
