Download old games from cds

Hello,
I have a lot of older games. I want to download them, but it isn't working. The games are 20+ years old and I am running windows XP

Being that old, they must be DOS games... in which case you need to download a program called DOSBox. Old 16-bit DOS games simply won't run in Windows XP.
