update on games freezing and lockups.

this is an update to my last post.

now i've so far only tested this with far cry 2 but when i turned the ram all the way down to 1111MHz the game stopped locking up and freezing and now just closes down after about 30min on average.

i will try this in fallout 3 wednesday night and see how i go.

anyone have any idea what the problem might be??

I'd check overheating first.

are you certain of the compatibility of that ram and mobo,,??,, OTOH,i had so called compatible ram for my asus mobo a m2n-e that did not work worth spit and replaced it with other ram and alls fine,one other thing you might consider benching the whole system on a non conductive surface,[as a last resort] sometimes there are gliches that only show up that way..
