Cyclic redundancy check

Hello All,

I'm having probems getting some movies to go back onto the hard drive after being burned to DVD+R disks.

It says, "Cannot copy Data error "(cyclic redundancy check)"
It does not do it to all movies, just some.

Does anyone know if I can get these back?

Windows XP Home
Pioneer DVR-108
Verbatim 16X Discs (I only burn at 4X)

CRCs occur when a piece of data is missing, or appears missing (come copy protection schemes trick the system into a CRC.
When it happens to burned movies, it is usually due to cheap discs or media, or, less often, a faulty burner.
