Search cant find the cd burner on this computer

Do you mean the software or the physical burner? I assume you mean software.
If it's the software and you deleted it, and, your computer is a major make, then you should be able to go into System tools in the programs menu and see if there is an "application recovery" tab. If you don't have that tab, probably the only way is to do a destructive recovery on your hard drive (back up all of your data first!!!), which will put the machine back into the out-of-the-box state. Your manual will explain this.
