Webcam hardware for acer aspire one

i got an acer aspire one netbook from rent-a-center and the previous owner deleted the webcam software so i dont have it and i need to know where to download it or if there is any possible way to restore it at all. i need to access the webcam to chat with my family because they live in hawaii and i live in ohio and it costs to much to go down there and visit. does anybody have any solutions or ideas? HELP ME... PLEASE?!?!?
