Hi guys, I've got another newb question. My PSU has 700 watts of continuous power. I have four +12 volt rails of 18 amps each. I'm looking to get a better graphics card but they all say 26 amps are needed. Sometimes it'll say the requirements of a combined 26 amps are needed to use those graphics cards. I just looked at the specs of my PSU and it says it can handle a combined 50 amps on the 12v...so my question is, would I be able to run a higher end card without issues? There isn't one +12v that has 26 amps but combined I can use up to 50...there are so many factors required to run these high end cards. I just wanna be sure my pc can handle it before I spend the cash.

BTW, I'm running a 9600 gt now, most of those cards require 26 amps on a single rail as well. I haven't had any issues with this card so I suppose I could use the other cards...just looking for some other peoples opinions.

The 26 amps recommendation is combined amps for the entire system, not just for the video card.
