Installing SATA driver on windows XP 32 bit

Hye, I've some question to ask. Previuosly, I've installed Windows XP 32-bit into my notebook. During the installation, I definitely cannot pree F6 button to install my SATA driver on the windows. Then, im right now working on my system without using SATA driver, it perfectly stuck my system. i've try some guide to install SATA driver after finishing installing windows XP,like using device manager update,but,when i click OK, it said:"the specified location does not contain information about your hardware". I'm following the guide given perfectly,but,it just doesnt work well..please help me!

The "Press F6" would be the first thing you see after the message "Press any key to boot from CD". It would appear at the bottom right after the screen gets blue (DOS-like).
