Need help bringing hd back to life

Hello,
I used active@ kill disk software on my computer and killed one of my hard drives. Is there a way to restore the hd? btw it now shows up on "my computer" as removable disk F if that helps

you want to recover files or just re-use the drive? If the latter, you should be able to partition & format. From the FAQ: http://www.killdisk.com/killdisk-faq.htm

Will I be able to use my HDD after Active@ KillDisk erase operation?

To be able to use HDD again you need to:

* repartition HDD using standard utility like FDISK
* reformat hard drive using standard utility like FORMAT
* reinstall Operating System using bootable CD-ROM or floppy

yes I just wanted to re-use the drive. And thank you very much for the answer to my question. I was really worried that the drive was just gone forever
