Is the DFI LANPARTY DK X38-T2RB LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard a good choice for overclocking a Q9550? Also, will it fit a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler? Reason why I chose this board is because it has x16 bandwidth for two cards in crossfire, also, its cheap :). If anyone has any other suggestions, please tell me. Thanks!

What resolution are you using? if its 1680x1050 then a P45 is good enough.
Q9950 depend on the chip. Board is fine. The xigmatek should fit it fine.

I use a 1600 by 1200 monitor, but plan on upgrading to a larger screen. The monitor I use is for photo editing so I got the smaller one to save money. I will get a cheaper, larger, monitor for gaming.
