G'day,

I use a Dell PC with Windows XP and connect wirelessly to a D-Link modem router.

Every 60 minutes my broadband connection (ADSL2+) drops out.

I've tried the above setup with a laptop instead of the desktop PC and the connection never drops out.

Any suggestions for a cure would be really helpful.

Many thanks!

1) Check your wireless card Hardware Configuration, make sure it's not set to Power Saving mode or not going to sleep. Do the same for Bios if settings available.
Turn off wake up or boot from network.
2) Check your network configurations and make sure you are getting the same gateway, dhcp & dns servers as laptop. Otherwise you are connecting to the wrong network.
