Changin domain name on my pc while domain server is off

Hello,
how i can change my PC domain name as my domain server crashed down and I installed new server but once I am changing domain to the new one it is asking for password and since the old server is down it will not accept to change.

have you tried to change to a Workgroup before trying to join a new Domain?

I think he means it's asking for a password when he changes to workgroup.

Try it with the network cable unplugged.

When changing to a Workgroup, use the local administrator account not the domain admin account.
