More about little choosing please
  1. Best out of the bunch is going to be the HD 3650. But questions remain:

1)What power supply do you have and is it enough to power a newer graphics card.
    2) What processor does your current system have and will it bottleneck a newer graphics card (as my Athlon XP 3200 did to my 7800GS).

    -Wolf ponders
  2. i have a 400W PSU and i have 2 processor's 1st is a intel celeron 2.7ghz processor 2nd is a intel Pentium 4 2.4ghz processor i hope this helps
  3. Agreed - the 3650 is by far the best card, but your PSU is a question that needs to be checked.
  4. the psu is running fine right now but i hear that theres some problem's with asus's cards but idk
  5. The psu will be fine .

But since AGP is a dead technology if you have a bit more money upgrade to a C2D system with maybe an e5200 , 2 gig of RAM, and a g33 or 35 chipset motherboard. It wont cost that much more since the AGP cards are expensive
  6. I`d suggest the 2600XT and pair it with the Pentium for best performance.
Just remember, this is an old system, do n`t expect to play at high resolutions and settings AND keep good framerates.
  7. well i normally just play at 1024-768 res but i have a question if i get a p4 2.8ghz HT processor and get the x1650 or HD 2400PRO *im trying to keep under $110 + im getting a gig of ram $22.00 so im left with around 80 bucks* so what do yall thank?
  8. According to Toms chart the 1650 is two tiers above the 2400, so that`s a no-brainer and, obviously the faster CPU will be a help, as will as much memory as you can afford.
  9. ok what company is better SAPPHIRE or POWERCOLOR? and thank you guys for helping me soo much :D *SAPPHIRE is the 1650pro POWERCOLOR is the 2600XT * THANKS!!!!!!
  10. anyone?
  11. I say the 3850 as the best choice and your psu is fine. but you should think about building a new computer completely. Its a good money saver plus you will have a nice new pc with a new mother board

Also Zaxix I am not a genius on that so I am not sure
  12. i was just wondering if was a good idea for buying 1gb of ram P4 2.8ghz ht CPU and one of these 2 cards =>powercolor 2600XT 512mb Core clock: 600MHz Memory Clock: 800MHz<= or =>SAPPHIRE Radeon X1650PRO 512MB Core clock: 590MHz Memory Clock: 800MHz<=
  13. anyone?

    powercolor 2600XT 512mb Core clock: 600MHz Memory Clock: 800MHz

SAPPHIRE Radeon X1650PRO 512MB Core clock: 590MHz Memory Clock: 800MHz
    plz help?
