CASE – Antec Sonata III
PSU – Antec EarthWatts 500W

GFX - Palit AE/38700+HD52 Radeon HD 3870 512MB 256-bit

O/D - LG GH22NS30 22x SATA DVD - $26.95
O/S - Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit

No, those parts will all work together. If this a budget build, for playing the latest games, you might consider dropping back on the CPU in order to get a better GPU, for example an e7200 and a HD4850; you could always go with your parts and then just get a 4850 later if you need it.

There is a nice bundle discount at newegg for the E8400 bundled with a ASUS P5Q Pro for $254.98 - $15 MIR (the P5Q Pro is a better board than the P5QL Pro that you have chosen)

Also, go with 64bit Vista. If its within your budget, I would highly suggest you upgrade to a 4850 GPU.

Cheaper ram, $24.99 after MIR:
CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Chan
