I just installed my new Sapphire graphics card, Radeon HD 3650, and now I have no sound. I uninstalled it and my sound started working again so it definitely has to do with the card. It's suggested to uninstall my original graphics card but I have on board graphics.

Before installing, in device manager, under sound it says "realtek high definition audio". Now after its installed it says "high definition audio device".

I've tried the following
-Updating my drivers
-Uninstalling and reinstalling them

Please, any other suggestions?

I have an HP Pavilion a1710n.

Disable your IGP in the BIOS.

try manually downloading and installing your audio drivers from HP. IMO HP is notorious for having bad and outdated drivers.
