i've started reading some reviews over at newegg about the evga geforce gtx 260. one of the customers said that
if you have any advanced case such as a Coolermaster 830 Stacker or similiar case --with air cooling this card will not fit. Also the power connections are exactly where you do not want them as they are facing the sides where your fans are spinning and wires and fans do not mix--I do not know why EVGA designed the card this way :(

i think he's crazy if he says that the gtx 260 will not fit. i measured the mobo tray and i have like an extra inch to spare.

right now i have:

cooler master stacker 830 evolution kkn3
corsair tx650w power supply

this is my first PC build. i'm looking forward on buying an ASUS board. will i have any problems if i buy this card or is it just the hardware that the customer has? i was looking at either the 9800 GTX+ or the GTX 260. if i encounter any problems with the gtx 260 then ill go for the 9800 GTX+.

i guess you mean the GTX 260 not fitting as the 9800GTX+ would be a performance decrease. and to help you out i the 9800GTX+ is the same size as a GTX 260 in length. both being 10.5 inches.

^no hes saying if theres any problems with it fitting he will get the shorter 9800GTX+. IMO if it doesnt fit get a 4850 but whatever floats ur boat..

lol edit: after reading your post carefully i see the GTX is the same size :p teach me to read more carefully...
