Why the start up button to run the explorer on my pc is missing?

I'm using windows Ice XP V3. Why the start up button to run the explorer in my pc is suddenly missing? So, i have to press ctrl+alt+del to run the program. It's annoying. how can i fix it? Thank You

wht exactly do you mean by start up button? Are you talking about the start menu only, the entire taskbar or something else?
