Im gonna be ordering the parts next week and did some looking around for some really good performance parts, the price is gonna be a bit steep but its gonna be a great PC. if you have any suggestions for better components, or any recommendations for this setup please let me know. I was reading that windows XP 32 only uses 3gb of ram and only the 64 works with more, but im not sure if thats true, and since i heard the 64 bit had more problems with programs i wanted to etch away from it.
anyways tell me what you think

skip the raptor and raid 2 1TB samsung F1 --read THG artivle on this drive its as fast as raptors

set it up as dual volume raid0 and raid1

make the raid0 do not make the raid1 load os -- when done make the raid1

965 is total waste if not water cooling use the 920

corsair ram will give higher memory bandwidth but i get super talent for $100 less and 23k mem bandwidth vs 25k

Asus ROG mobo's typically have a lot more issues due to poor bios support -- the p6t or deluxe rocks

while the X58 may not have the issues the X38 has - i am hardcore asus - i use 50 different mobos in the last 3 years and 1/4 that from all other makers

DUDE USE 64BiT OS -- YOU ONLY GET 2.25GB OF RAM! WAY TOO LITTLE! DUAL BOOT

IF YOU NEED 32BIT -- THEN DUAL BOOT THE 32BIT ON THE RAID1 SECOND VOLUME!

1000w on quad sli? ya its ok! but.... with a $4000 build list why go cheap on the psu -ya the 295 quad is 600 x .6 = 1000w. so your dead on for the psu - but what if you overvolt? you need 1100-1200 YOUR PSU IS FINE AND A GOOD CHOSE. i like silverstone and antec better but then again i have not tried the 1000w corsair, its really good i hear, the 750 and 620 are just ok.

everything above i have built and shipped! good luck!

photo time!

thanks for your input, but i have a few questions about your choices.

im dont know how to properly raid drivers, im not sure if its hard but i dont know what the point of raiding them really is.
as for water cooling the antec 1200 should have more than enough cooling to need anymore from what i heard but again, so many opinions im not sure.
and as for PSU what would you recommend instead of the corsair?
thanks for your input
