I suspect that it is not worth it. If your games are running well, then don't bother.

What resolution are you running applications in? What kind of Power Supply do you have? Does your "killer app" even utilize multiple GPU's?

I game at 1650x1050 and 1980x1080(depending on if i use the 50in lcd or 22in monitor)

I want to be able to play everything on max everything(0aa) and run smooth.

I originally bought the motherboard and psu wanting to sli. Now im having second thoughts and wanted to know if you guys thought it would be worth it.

Anything below 1920x1200 and you should be fine. My GTX260+ has pretty much crushed whatever I have thrown at it at that resolution. Even to the point where I wonder why they make cards that cost almost double what this card does. Maybe buy a second card in 6-8 months when it'll be under $200 ?

Good point bud. I guess when more demanding game make their way out i will get another gtx 260. And yeah with the new cards comming out soon the price should go down. Thanks for your help.
