I just installed the gigabyte MB (GA-MA78G-DS3H). All workd just fine except for some reason the onboard video keeps defaulting back to the VGA port and no to the DVI port which my Viewsonic Flat screen is connected to. I'm running XP. I have to connect an old VGA monitor to re set it up. Any ideas whats going on? I'm running 1 monitor only.

I have mine to output on both. There is a BIOS setting regarding that, but it is you have to choose between the two digital outs. What I do (every time I install new drivers) is hook a monitor up to the VGA and the DVI. Then using the VGA to see, go into CCC and clone the main display to the monitor hooked up on the DVI. Then it should go to both every time, until you install new drivers. Probably an easier way, but since mine is permanently hooked up to VGA and DVI monitors, that's what I do.
