To get 3ghz just go into bios and change FSB to 286 and keep your multiplier at 10.5 you wont have to change anything else to be stable at 3ghz. If you want to go higher please read the guide.

Next stop should be a guide for your particular motherboard. Google is your friend.

Take a look at this guide.

3.0 ghz is a very easy overclock you shouldnt have to change anything but the FSB and maybe your RAMs ratio which would be best at 1:1.

What motherboard you have?

help me plz, i cant find any overclock option on my bios

Ahh you forgot to mention it was an HP compaq board there wont be anything in the bios to overclock your cpu they lock that stuff out so you dont ruin the machine. Your only hope is to maybe try using a utility called setfsb but dont expect much because you wont be able to change your voltage. But it looks like it might not work with the G31 chipset but its worth a shot.

Not sure I never used it before but probably yes. I think you can put it as a startup item and it will just start with windows.
