I want to know what you guys recommend for a good air cooler.

I been looking at this cooler. http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118004&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=3463938&SID=

My specs:

Phenom ii x4 920.
ATI sapphire 5870 1gb
TA790GX biostar motherboard
4gb of DDR2 ram
500 watt antec PSU
CM storm sniper case

I'm running the stock cooler on the 920, overclocked it from 2.8ghz to 3.2ghz fine. I just want to overclock it more.

Thanks guys.

Here is a link to a recent Tom's Hardware article with useful information about 10 popular cpu heatsinks:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/lga-1156-heatsink,2535.html

I know the article states Intel LGA 1156 heatsinks but alot of them are also compatible with AMD

Here is a link to a very good web site with more useful information about cpu heatsinks that will help you make an informed decision:

Scroll down the page for the AMD lists. You can use the Google embedded search feature at the web site to find more information about heatsinks for specific cpu sockets.

If you already assembled your rig and too lazy to take it apart again to install the cooler, just get the Xigmatek Dark Knight:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233029
It is in the same price range at the Zalman but will perform 10 degrees cooler at the same noise level. You can see in this review how far down the ladder is Zalman 9500 in terms of performance.
