Hi,
I'm new to PC gaming & I configured and assembled a gaming PC with help from my friends & tom's hardware.

Here are my system specs:

Asus P5QLE Mobo, Intel E7400/2.8GHz, OCZ 6400 gold series 2GbX1 RAM,XFX9600GT, seagate250gb HDD

Now I want to upgrade my RAM from 2 to 4GB. My MOBO supports dual channel, currently using OCZ 6400 gold series 2GbX1 RAM. If I install another OCZ RAM with same spec, will my MOBO work under dual channel mode or I have to buy a pair of dual channel RAM? and will dual RAM will reap any benefit in terms of gaming.

I'm using dual OS, XP & vista.

On the ASUS site under my mobo's spec, they've mentioned the following quote:

*When installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended.

what does this mean?

Thanks in advance

I would just get the cheapest 2x2gb pc6400, and sell or keep your leftover memory for spares. zipzoomfly had a pretty good deal on ocz; may still have it for about $20-25 after rebate. 32 bit windows recognizes about 3 gb of memory max; it's a mathmatical limitation of the operating system. Use 64 bit windows if you want to recognize more than 3 gb. Newegg has 2 gb of corsair for $25 or 4 gb of apacer for $37 in todays email ad. The ad is posted at fatwallet.
