Hi, Im a noob at overclocking and I jsut want to know if my OC is ok

3.0Mhz, 1.424V, my idle temp is 38 celcius, while running p95, its 58.

i just followed what my friend told me thru the phone

btw my mobo is gigabyte ep43l - us3l.

Well, I've had e4600 which was running at 3.2ghz at 1.425V at 60degrees max and I can tell you that such a voltage, even though it seems ok, is an overkill for that cpu. After 6months I had to rise the voltage, later I had to decrease the clock to keep it stable. Now I have e4700@3.46ghz at 1.4V and it started making errors after again 6months of use. I advise you, if you can, lower the voltage if it's for 24/7 use.

I use my pc 8-10 hours max, bout 3-4 hours playing bad company2 online.. the rest is just reading stuff. Ill try and experiment w/ voltages. tnx!
