I would like to know if there is any way i could run my main PC with another older PC sitting around as some form of "cluster" that shares resources and CPU power to help accelerate some of my applications and possibly(hopefully) some of my games? Maybe over the network or via USB-USB?

Thanks in advance!

In short, no.

This is generally something done in higher level business and with different equipment and software designed to do this.

normally that is just used in render farms, etc. I don't think that is possible for just using windows or games. USB would be too slow also, only ~480Mbits/s but your cpu is processing a lot faster than that.

So can we do that with LAN or something else? Because it is really interesting I have two computers now can I hook them up somehow to process together?
