E8400 Temp

Hi, i've been running an E8400 for a while now with stock cooling, and within the last couple of days it heats up to 80-90 c while im playing games, on idle it's fine around 35 c with the case side off. Im one of those people that couldn't ever get the stock cooling fully fastened, should i opt to get a better cooler?

yes, either sort out refitting the stock or get a third party you can bolt/screw on rather than using the push pins.
