I'm running a windows server 2003 and I have several computers running windows XP. I've noticed 2-4 computers that have been running out of disk space very rapidly and found that it was the C:\Windows\CSC dir. that was the culprit.

Additionally I found that those are offline files, essentially and I have since been trying to figure out how to get rid of them as I have a RAID and simply will never need them.

In any case, I've downloaded the csccmd.exe guy and I can't seem to figure out how to actually DELETE these files.

I understand you can stop the sync but I can't do anything beyond that. I was wondering if I can simply Delete them at this point, but of course I'd rather not unless I know it won't be destructive.

(I've asked my seniors and they don't seem to know what to do.)

Anyway, Any help is appreciated.

Open my computer. Tools -> folder options then offline files tab.
Here you can turn off offline files and delete the files. You can also lower the disk space used to 0 if you want.

I actually don't have an offline files tab on the consoles.
