hey guys
i've a c2d e4400 @ 2.00ghz
mobo asus p5gc/mx 1333
1gb ddr2 ram
windows 7 ultimate 32-bit
my cpu reaches OC limit at 2.66 ghz n after that it aint boots into windows..so i lowered it a bit and set it to 2.6ghz
i ran prime95 test stress for 32mins..it gave no errors or warnings wot so evr..
cpu-z showed the following details:
FSB 1041mhz
DRAM freq. 260.2mhz
core voltage neva exceeded 1.336 v (it stays at 1.2 undr normal conditions)
the problem is that after doing this test my psu got very hot n upon restarting my pc i was not able to boot with any OC settings for about half an hour until my psu cooled down(im using stock air cooling only)
im adding a few upgrades to my pc..i'll add 2gb ram(making a total of 3gb ram) n radeon hd 5750..
i need to know if i need to change my psu also..my psu is 450+ watts..
n will i be able to reach greater OCs after these upgrades coz i've seen c2d e4400 reaching above 3ghz easily with stock air cooling...??

NOTE:i have 1 more problem..whenevr i play games on my radeon x550xtx after a while the screen goes black..i can still hear the cpu fan,psu fan running, the sounds playing but i dont get any display..ultimately i restart my pc..is this problem related to my gpu or is my psu responsible 4 it??(im doubting my psu cz it makes a lot of sound upon system start up n sometimes it heats up a lot n its fan goes off too)

plz guys give me ur valuable suggestins..
thnx in adv.. :)

intex? Wow... Ya if you plan to overclock you need a reliable PSU.

Also, it's much easier to read what you post when you type the way you write a document, instead of the way the words come out of your mouth.
