Ok, here is my dilemma. Here is the memory I bought:

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145197

And heres the motherboard I have:

ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131284

I bought 8 gigs of that memory because the motherboard says it supports it. After installing windows xp and loading it up the system properties only shows that it has 3.25 gigs of ram.

I checked BIOS to see if it recognized the ram and it does, all 8 gigs. So how do I get windows xp to see the full 8 gigs?

Thanks in advance!

Thats the problem , ur using 32bit OS thus u cant see it unless u use 64bit OS .
However, ur comp will still fully utilize the use of the 8gig ram, dun worry. :D
