Hi all.
Trying to overclock GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R (safely), have a retail box I7 920 CPU with it's cooler fan setup.
using 4 GB of g.skill DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) set at 9-9-9-24
any step by step bios setting to get it past the standard 2.6 MHz would be great....

Thanks All :bounce:

Just put the base clock up (BCLK), the 920s are really easy to push to 3.2GHz without needing to push the voltage up. Go in 10MHz increments, and stress test, then repeat. If you find that its unstable, try updating the BIOs to a newer version (I had to with my Gigabyte board) and see if that improves things.

Happy overclocking!
