Well 1st Alienware. Well i can pay weekly so i can afford it. Well i don't have my Alienware yet but its maximum it can OC is to 3.2Ghz on a i7-920. I don't have it yet. But i heard people try to overclock it higher but it becomes unstable. is it possible to change the Cooler or is it because of the motherboard. The Cooler is the Alienware Extreme Liquid Cooling (like a H50 with an alienware logo)

So you don't have your alienware yet?

An i7 should clock to at least 3.8ghz or at the very very least 3.6ghz even with air. Now 3.2ghz is like something you get with the stock cooler.

See if you can clock it higher when you get it. Those people who said it becomes unstable might have bad memory or trying to overclock their memory.
