Windows Firewall

when i turn my computer on my windows firewall needs to be turned on manually. im running windows xp pro. iv checked on administrative tools, services and the firewall is set to automatic. anyone got any ideas?

Windows Firewall?

To be frank I would insist you get a different firewall altogether.... In my experience having no firewall is just as good as having Windows Firewall.

Thanks Willfred, can you recommend a good free Firewall? i did download Zone Alarm but it was imcompatible with my Avast Anti-Virus.
