How do I delete unwanted items in my toolbar - added with my asking

facebook, amazon, cnn, youtube, plus some were added to my toolbar when I opened the computer.
how do I delete an item from toolbar?

point at the item, right click
point at delete, left click
The OS will ask you if you are sure you want to send the item to the recycle bin
click yes.

SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I OPEN UP MY COMPUTER FOR GOOGLE SEARCH, YOU TUBE COMES ON WITH RAP.I CAN'T EVEN CONCENTRATE. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? HOW DO I RID MYSELF OF YOUY TUBE ON MY TOOLBAR?

Quick guess control panlel add remove programs, remove google desktop helper and google toolbar. CAPS LOCK DON"T BOThER ME AT ALL
