Hey I'm thinking building a new gaming build and I need some advices on the parts. . I'm going back and forth between the antec sonata and antec 300 and can't decide which one to get. I'm wondering which case+power supply setup would be have better airflow and temperature. I'm wondering if the cpu cooler will fit in the motherboard. I'm getting the gtx260 because it have a 40$ rebate, I was going to get the hd 4850 but decided to get the gtx 260 since its a bit better. Please check out the build to see if there's anything wrong. Feel free to suggest other components.

Isn't gigabyte ud3p a p45 board and not a crossfire board....
I don't really want to spend $200+ on a video that's why I'm deciding on the gtx260 older version over a hd4850 I previously wanted to get. Shouldn't a 500w be good enough since I'm not going crossfire or sli?

The GTX 260 you said you wanted is $220.

The 4870 I linked is faster than that card and $210 after rebate.

Did you mean to link a 4850? That would be less and would make more sense.

The Gigabyte board you linked is indeed crossfire capable. It's not quite as fast at crossfire as an x38 or x48 board, but it can still do it.

Nevermind about the gtx260 the 40$ rebate was cancelled,Guess I'll go with the 4870 you linked. Is 500w antec good enough because 700-750w power supplies seems a bit expensive.

Newegg has the EVGA GTX260 and 216 cores for $220 and $240, respectively. Also get at least a 600W power supply and its better for it to be too high than too small. Corsair 750W are a good bargain at $120.
