Hi, I am having problems playing games using DX 10(using Devil May Cry 4 and Crysis Warhead) and it crashes the minute I get into the menu. Playing those games in DX9 are fine. My resolution is 1920 x 1080 and in dx10, the display screen is smaller(like 4 black bars around).

My specs

Vista 64 home premium
abit IP35-e motherboard
e6750 core 2 duo @ 3.6 Ghz(got a new heatsink fan to make it clock that high)
4 GB g.skill ram @800mhz 2.1v
HIS 4870x2

all windows updates and using 8.12 drivers(tried 8.11 and 8.10 as well)

help would be appreciated

Hello and welcome to the forums mate
Well test some other games like COH or STALKER CS which support DX10 and test with them.
