I just got my new PC today and noticed something weird.
I have an Enermax Neo case with a 120mm side fan with speed and directional control, coupled with an Enermax Pro82+ 625W PSU.
The fan control has 3 states: in take, out take and OFF.
When I switch the control from in take or out take to OFF my PC resets immediately.
There is no RPM data wire for the fan.
My BIOS reports 0 RPM for system fan1 and 500 RPM for system fan2, none of which have a data wire.
Since it's the weekend, I can't contact my dealer, and anyway, the whole thing works fine if I don't touch the fan control.
Any ideas?
