Ok, i just Dl'd the OFFICIAL 8.12 drivers from ATI. Now i want to start using this awesome new Avivo converter that i have heard so much about. I am told to check in the BAsic view of CC.
Well, there is no "Basic" view in the All Programs list anymore, just "CCC- Wizard".

Ok, i select that and there is no option for the Avivo converter. Just "Setup my Display Configuration".

Has anyone else had this problem?

Im running XP 64 with the XPx64 8.12 drivers and a new 4870.

Assuming that you didn't download the graphics drivers only, just start up CCC. If it starts in advanced mode then click on the button in the bottom left corner that says "Basic". Once in basic mode just click "next" and then select "Avivo Video Converter" from the list. I'm running 8.12 on XP 32-bit right now and it works fine.

Were d i download is seperately? i looked on the ati page and it directed me back to the graphics drivers.

Also, now the drivers will not work. After restarting after installation, a dialog box states "could not load file or assembly 'MOM.Implementation'"

This is utter bullcrap. I have never had this much driver trouble with Nvidia... :(

no, i believe my .net framework is all updated.

Interesting note: the AVIVO and other downloads are no there on the XP 64 page. Only on the XP home/pro page. Im DLing the 32 bit drivers and trying those.

Meh... 32 bit doesn't install. damn...

I already did the driver sweep.
I ran a mishmash of 32 and 64 drivers and extras, then deleted the CLI startup process and now CCC will start, but the AVIVO thing still isnt there. I guess this is just another example of us losers with 64 bit operating systems getting shafted again.
