hi, ive been having problems with my setup. i recently got a x1950xt / e6600 / asus p5n-e sli. for a few days it was running fine. but then i had a crash playing a game, this mobo is very tempremental, everything needs to be manually setup in bios for it to run stable, and occasionally have to reset cmos on a crash. and im getting a lot of other nuances while trying to rectify this gfx problem.

anyway the main problem is, i cant get games to run full screen anymore, they were running fine for a few days. all of a sudden i started getting scrambled gfx when loading fullscreen apps - games / dx test etc. ive attached a picture with this thread. funny thing is it did go back to normal for a few hours and full screen started to work again but then returned to the same again. no idea why.

things ive tried
-2 psus, 1x400w, 1x500w with suitable +12v rails.
-reinstalling windows
-omega/cat different driver versions.
-updated mobo bios to latest
-gfx card fan on 100%
-removing and reinserting the card

i can run games in windowed mode, which im having to do at the moment.

there is an ati2tag l2c failure error or something

another thing to note is i was running atitool for the first few days and all temps were reported fine. then for some unknown reason the voltage regulator would climb upto almost 105. i uninstalled atitool and started using rivatuner and things appear to be okay.

im unsure if the graphics card is on its way out, the mobo is screwed, a bios option? incompatibility between the two. i cant test them on anybody elses computer and dont have access to a different pci-e card atm.

the following image shows the corruption. sometimes the vpu recover will catch it and go back to windows, sometimes i have to reboot.
