hello i have a brand new geforce6100pm m2 mobo with 64x2 2.2ghz cpu,and my problem is the psu,i wanna use 20 pin psu and the mobo is a 24pin with another 4pins sepparate 12v,and i wonder if its gonna work or im going to fry my new mobo.
and additionally i have a hp vectra psu 20pin as well but with the extra sepparate 4pins.
so which one of them will work, and its safer, please i need an answer

Splendid
You definitely need a PSU with the separate 4 pin "CPU power" connector. As for the other connector, one with 20 instead of 24 should work as long as you don't have high power components such as CPU and graphics card. The extra 4 pins on the 24-pin connector just provide more current at the same voltage levels.
