PC build need help on which operating system to get

This is my gaming pc build and i was wondering if i need a 64bit o/s. Ill be playing warhammer online mainly.

Good rig.
**Make sure you get the bolt in kit for the S1283.**

You won't "need" a 64bit OS, it's just that on 32 bit you are limited to only 3.5GB RAM.

If your games, printers,etc have Vista x64 drivers and will run on Vista x64 then get Vista x64, else get Vista or XP.

LCD? Any thing less than a 22" is probably a waste with that 4870 X2.

that 3.5gb of ram total on a 32 bit if you have a vid card subtract that from your system ram as well, no page filing either...3.5 gigs of ram thats it on a 32 bit system so if youre looking at a 2 gig card better go with the 64 bit os or you'll only have 1.5 avail for your os... and vista doesn't play nicely at that level.

True true. That 2GB card will drop your available system RAM by a lot. You're better off with a 64bit OS.

I wouldn't recommend Windows 8 due to the fact that it's FULL of background processes that not only takes up computing power but RAM as well. So, I would go with Any type of Window 7 64-Bit. ~Snowey
