Hello

I need to buy some RAM from either tigerdirect.ca or newegg.ca so I can play games without lag and run applications faster.

I was looking at this DDR2 667 RAM for my motherboard (which sadly only supports DDR2 667).

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231109 I will buy 2 of these

or

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820141240

or

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3198079&CatId=3411

I would like to know if these choices are any good for gaming, and if somebody knows of better RAM for about the same price (must look cool) let me know.

Thank you

I wouldnt buy any ram slower than ddr2-800 so that it can be used again later in a different mobo, it will always run slower than its spec. Unless you are planning to overclock, the differences between good ram these days is too small to worry about, IMO.

Yes, I have a 9800GT. Not the best out but it gets the job done. I also have an E8400 but for some reason Team Fortress 2 is really slow. A guy at my local computer store and on these forums say its because of my RAM, so I am upgrading. Thanks
