Newly bought Geforce 9500GT

Hi,

I'm a newbie here and i just wanna ask because im not a tech-addict. I recenlt bought Geforce 9500GT because or my resolution which is 1024x768. I know i have an old CRT monitor but i still don't have enough money to buy a new one. It has 500/1200/400 in my GPU-Z. I have tried using Rivatuner to OC it,i reach 580/1350/470. Can i push it harder in that frequency? Can i equal the performance of 9600GT if it reach the most highest OC level?..please help..

its pretty dependent on the individual card...
one 9500GT will overclock diff. than another
just make sure the temperature doesn't get to high on the card (the sensor tab).
I'm not sure you can quite equal a 9600GT... that would come down to the luck of the card.
I recommend using ATITool to test the card for artifacts... if you don't get any, or the drivers don't crash, your good to keep pushing to card more

You're gonna be in a world of hurt if she cacks. Approach overclocking very carefully if you can't afford a new monitor (or GPU, is the point).
