Which is better, AMD Phenom 9850 quad core vs Intel 2 quad Q9400 processor

I'm having a replacment PC being built by HP under warrenty. Original PC came with AMD Phenom 9850 quad core and replacement has Intel 2 Quad Q9400. Which one is better

I would tend to say the Q9400 is a little better in almost every way, though the 9850 isn't bad. The difference certainly isn't huge.

the replacement is definitely better, assuming the other specs of the replacement (video card/memory/etc) are the same as the 9850.

Q9400 is better, but like johnyeah said, it depends if the other system specs remain the same
