Question on the Zerotherm Nirvana 120mm Cpu fan

I have an Antec 900 case, with a zerotherm nirvana 120mm fan. However, my motherboard (AM2 Socket) only lets me mount the heatsink, either facing the gpu, or the 200mm fan on top. I have it right now facing the gpu, but alittle worried about hot air blowing directly onto the component. So my question is should i move it to face the 200mm fan?

Face the fan so it blows hot air out the top.
You will get better temperatures.
