1st issue the 940 wouldn't post what i found if i locked the heat sink 100% this was causing the issues both on stock and aftermarket cooler once i backed off to 1\2 way boots fine and temps at idle w \freezer pro 30c (not sure why but try prior RMA road ) not sure why . found out by chance by swapping out chips was to lazy to completely re attache heat sink maybe theses are a tad taller than my BE 5000????

2nd issue memory timing any change form auto in bios system wouldn't post 1.90v crucial ballistic ddr 800 also shows as unganged

not sure if this will help any one but maybe !!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd issue

I have the same problem, changing from Athlon 5200+ (running OK @ 3.01 GHz) to Phenom 9600 BE (running OK @ 2.51 GHz)

With Athlon 4 x 1 GB PC 6400 was shown as dual mode :lol: while with Phenom is shown as unganged :ouch:

I've noticed that RAM is bit slack now when working in Photoshop while with Athlon was very good.
